Family Survives Storm's Destruction of Mobile Home
Justin Buckman was watching TV when he looked outside and saw his horse trailer flip. That's when he started to feel his house flip, too.
After the storm, an ambulance took Buckman to Moberly where doctors told him he had a broken leg. At the hospital, Buckman learned his mother had a broken back, while his father only had bumps and bruises.
Buckman also learned his 10-year-old brother was trapped in the rubble.
"All he could move was his hand just like this and he was there for about two or three hours underneath there," Buckman said. "And they had to get a big machine to get him out."
Buckman's brother Jacob also suffered a broken leg. Doctors expect everyone in the family to recover.
