Five arrested in Ferguson protest
FERGUSON (AP) - Five protesters are facing charges after a confrontation with police in Ferguson.
KTVI-TV reported that demonstrators, some in masks, gathered at Ferguson Police headquarters Wednesday night and marched, eventually shutting down the intersection of South Florissant Road and Airport Road for several minutes. They then returned to the police station.
No injuries were reported and the specific charges have not been announced.
The masked protesters were part of the "Million Mask March" organized by the Internet activist group Anonymous.
Tensions remain high in Ferguson as a grand jury considers whether Officer Darren Wilson will face charges in the Aug. 9 shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.
