COLUMBIA - Five members of Missouri's wrestling team were named to the 2015 National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Academic Team Friday.

Redshirt senior Johnny Eblen, sophomore Joey Lavallee, redshirt freshman Willie Miklus, redshirt sophomore Zach Synon and redshirt senior Alan Waters took home honors for Mizzou.

The NWCA All-Academic Team contains 118 student-athletes. According to the NWCA, this year's list also includes half of the Division I champions and eight of the 20 wrestlers who competed in the finals in St. Louis in March.

Mizzou's five recipients tied with Stanford for the most individuals taking a spot on this year's list. Brown, Duke, Lehigh, Nebraska, Old Dominion, Penn State, Penn and South Dakota State each had four wrestlers on the list.
