COLUMBIA - Week four is finished and far earlier than last week which was plagued with weather delays. This time, the rain held off but the cold did not. Gloves, jackets and hand-warmers were in full view on the field and on the sidelines.

In our Game of the Week, Moberly tried but could not pull it out in the end and lost to Fulton. This would have pushed Moberly to .500 but they could not get it done. Fulton, on the other hand, moves into prime postition to make a move in Class 3.

Rock Bridge almost pulled off the comeback against Lee's Summit West, and Jefferson City dominated DeSmet, as the teams traveled to opposite sides of the state.

It's cold, but not slowing down some teams and hindering others. Hickman is holding off Helias which has been my surprise of the night, and Moberly has started off slow, which will not help.
