COLUMBIA - An autumn chill crept over mid-Missouri high school football fields as teams fought for a playoff win.

This week's Friday Night Fever Game of the Week showcased a playoff match-up between Father Tolton Regional Catholic High School and North Callaway High School. The Tolton Trailblazers will play next week after they defeated the North Callaway Thunderbirds.

The Jefferson City Jays defended their turf against the Blue Springs South Jaguars with a 46-28 win. Rock Bridge fell to Fort Zumwalt West 42-19. The Hickman Kewpies lost to the Smith-Cotton Tigers 45-14. Both Rock Bridge and Hickman's seasons ended tonight. Battle High School had a bye this week so both Battle and Tolton will play in the second round of playoffs.
