AP-MO--CityWorker-Theft 10-17 0120 AP-MO--City Worker-Theft Former city worker gets 18 months in prison for theft ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The former municipal court administrator for O'Fallon is sentenced to 18 months in prison for making false statements on tax returns in connection with the theft of nearly 350-thousand dollars from the municipal court, using much of the money to gamble. Kim Hawk was also ordered to pay restitution of 77-thousand dollars. She pleaded guilty in federal court in June, and was sentenced today. Authorities say Hawk stole money from the cash bonds before the deposit was made into the municipal court account. She used most of the money to gamble at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles.
