Former MU Tiger Dorial Green-Beckham arrested
VAN BUREN - Former MU football player Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested by Van Buren police during a traffic stop Wednesday night, according to Van Buren police chief Nick McBroom.
Police pulled over Green-Beckham for going 10 mph over the speed limit on Highway 60, McBroom said. The officer ran the NFL player's license and noticed he had an outstanding warrant for a previous speeding ticket in Osage Beach. The officer then arrested Green-Beckham.
McBroom said police released Green-Beckham after he paid $92.48 to settle the outstanding ticket. He received a written warning for his speeding in Van Buren.
Green-Beckham played for the MU Tigers until he was dismissed from the team in April 2014.
