Founder of Child Sexual Assault Website Sentenced to Prison
KANSAS CITY - More than 600 people were convicted on child pornography in 47 states Tuesday. Six were prosecuted in separate cases in the Western District Court of Missouri.
Legan, Ronald - Springfield, sentenced to 70 months in federal prison without parole.
Corkill, Alan - Harrisonville, sentenced to 60 months in federal prison without parole.
Lear, C. Tony - Gladstone, sentenced to 78 months in federal prison without parole.
Ingerson, Terry - Polo, sentenced to 180 months in federal prison without parole.
Smith, Samuel - Platte City, sentenced to 60 months in federal prison without parole.
Boneta, Max - Columbia, sentenced to 5 years' probation.
The convictions were all part of a larger investigation involving a Ukraine-based child sexual assault website. The founder of the site was also arrested and sentenced in New Jersey to 30 years in prison. More than 600 people prosecuted Tuesday were American subscribers to the illegal site. The site displayed hardcore images of children being sexually assaulted and abused.
