Four Columbia Agencies Review What's Working in City
COLUMBIA - Four community organizations will meet at 9 a.m. Friday to discuss what's working in Columbia and what they can do better collectively.
Columbia city staff, the Columbia Public School District board, Boone County staff and Columbia Chamber of Commerce members will gather at the Columbia City Hall to address the agenda.
The organizations plan to talk about new ways to ease school traffic congestion around Scott Boulevard. The Route Z roundabout, built as a collaborative effort of the city, county, and MoDOT, is the most recent attempt to help traffic problems in Columbia.
The groups will review city and county protocols to determine if communication between the four organizations is efficient when it comes to snow removal and road treatment.
The organizations will also brainstorm on how CoMO Connect can help school transportation.
