Fulton man arrested for burglary at Public Works building

FULTON - Early Thursday morning, Fulton police arrested a man in relation to a burglary.

According to a news release from the Fulton Police Department, the suspect was identified as James Kuciejcik, a 35-year-old man from Fulton.

Police said, Kuciejcik was found in the employee break room of the Fulton Public Works building around 1 a.m.

Officers found the tools the suspect is believed to have used to break in and damage the exterior doors of the building. 

The man was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail with no bond.

He faces charges of:

  • 2nd Degree Burglary
  • Possession of Burglary Tools
  • Felony Property Damage
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
  • Stealing

The department said its investigation is ongoing.
