Fulton police chase ends with arrest, substance found in car
FULTON - Police arrested a man who led officers on a short chase and had a crystallike substance in his car.
Police saw a suspicious vehicle in the area of Schultze and Ravine streets in Fulton around 8 a.m. Thursday. An officer tried to pull over the car for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to stop. A short chase ended when the driver, later identified as Ronald “Gleen” Hook, stopped the car.
Officers took Hook into custody without incident. They found a crystallike substance believed to be methamphetamine in his car.
Hook is in Callaway County Jail on a $4,639.00 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
