Fulton Principal honored for use of technology
FULTON - Fulton Middle School Principal Beth Houf is one of the National Association of Secondary School Principals Digital Principal of the Year for 2019.
She among the other 27 recipients world wide, and the two Missouri natives named.
Houf has implemented technology based teacher evaluation programs, FMS Passionate Learning - focused on personalized learning - in her term as principal. She used social media platforms as a way of communication with parents.
Houf is the co-author of Lead Like a PIRATE: Make School Amazing for Your Students and Staff.
She is active in her community being facilitator for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Leadership Academy, a news release said. She also branches out to state and national principal associations.
