Gabbert Makes NFL Debut Against Jets
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - Former Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert made his NFL debut for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets. The first-round draft pick completed his first NFL pass to running back Maurice Jones-Drew for 11 yard.
Gabbert finished 5 for 6 passing for 52 yards and also ran for a yard. The rookie quarterback replaced starter Luke McCown, who was 6 for 19 for 59 yards and threw four interceptions leading to the Jaguars 32-3 loss to the Jets.
