Gaming Commission Counsel Named to Judgeship
COLUMBIA (AP) - The top lawyer for the Missouri Gaming Commission has a new job and a new title. Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed Michael Bradley as an associate circuit judge in the 13th Judicial Circuit, which covers Boone and Callaway counties.
Bradley, of Columbia, served as chief counsel for the Missouri Gaming Commission since mid-2010. He has also worked as a legal counsel for the state Department of Public Safety and the state Highway Patrol, and as a prosecutor and associate circuit judge in his native Carroll County.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports the associate circuit judge's position in the 13th Circuit had been vacant for nearly seven months before Bradley's appointment last week.
