JEFFERSON CITY- Hours before he is set to step down, Gov. Eric Greitens signed 77 bills into law, according to a press release from the Office of the Missouri Governor.
“Our top priority has always been getting results for the people of Missouri, and our strong agenda has taken Missouri in a new and better direction,” said Greitens in a Friday statement. "Today, I’m proud to put my name on many important laws and bold reforms."
Greitens is scheduled to resign Friday at 5 p.m. and Lt. Gov. Mike Parson will be sworn in as the 57th governor of Missouri shortly after.
