Governor Nixon Appoints New Public Administrator For Saline County
JEFFERSON CITY - Governor Jay Nixon has appointed Paula J. Barr, of Marshall, as the new public administrator for Saline County. The position became vacant after the resignation of Mary A. Toliver.
Barr, a Democrat, has worked in the Saline County Public Administrator's office since 2005, and has served as the deputy public administrator since 2007. In those positions, she has handled a wide variety of responsibilities, both legal and financial.
"I am confident that Paula Barr's experience in the Public Administrator's office over the last several years will enable her to continue to ably serve the people of Saline County in her new position," Governor Nixon said.
