MEXICO - Governor Nixon will speak Wednesday in Audrain county about bipartisan support for the strategy to create more jobs in the Missouri's automotive industry. The Missouri Works strategy was announced by Nixon earlier this month. The strategy was outlined in Nixon's State of the State Address last week.

According to a press release, one of the key points in the Missouri Works strategy is to increase jobs at automotive suppliers across the state, especially as For and GM invest a combined $1.5 billion to create new jobs in the state.

The announcement begins at 11:15 a.m.
