Harrisburg Schools Briefly Tighten Security As Precaution
HARRISBURG - Schools in Harrisburg went into a state of heightened security Monday but did not fully lock down, a precautionary move by administrators who were concerned about a former student returning.
Superintendent Lynn Proctor says the school was in a "watch," which meant the exterior doors were locked for a few hours Monday morning. Once the former student was located, administrators called off the watch.
Proctor did not specify what made administrators concerned about this student.
