Home & Lifestyle Expo Comes to CMEC For First Time
BOONE COUNTY - The 53rd annual Mid-Missouri Home & Lifestyle Expo kicked off the second day of its first showing at the Central Missouri Events Center Saturday. Local and out-of-the-area vendors set up stalls all around the center interior to sell to and consult with eventgoers looking for anything from roofing to kitchen supplies.
Home Builders Association Chairperson Stephanie Hall said the most effective aspect of the show was the sheer concentration of home products and home industry experts in one place.
"I'd like to say it is a perfect opportunity to have a lot of home industry experts at your disposal. So, we have vendors exhibiting any kind of home product - interiors, exteriors, gutters, roofs, siding, flooring, cabinets, home gadgets, anything you can imagine. And you have all these experts captive. You can ask them questions, find out about their products and feel, touch and see all the new and exciting things for your home," Hall said.
The show will be at the center for one more day Sunday from noon to 4 P.M. Admission is free.
