Homecoming Celebrations Continue on MU Campus
COLUMBIA - MU students and alumni were decked out in black and gold as they walked through campus before Mizzou's 100 year anniversary of homecoming.
Those that weren't dressed for the occasion, spent part of Friday in MU's University Bookstore purchasing tiger items.
One MU alumni said the 100 year anniversary of homecoming is the reason he came back to visit.
"It is the first time I have been back in thirty some years so it is just really kind of nice to reconnect with my Mizzou roots," Jack Brand said. "The weather couldn't be better. I left rain and cold in Seattle and this is going to be a gorgeous weekend. I'm just soaking it all in."
Alumni, students and families will have plenty to soak in this weekend with the homecoming parade and game on Saturday.
