Hudson's Homer Gives Tigers Split Against Baylor

WACO, Texas - The Missouri softball team split the weekend series against the Baylor Bears with a 6-0 shutout victory on Sunday. The Tigers improve to 5-1 in Big 12 and 28-5 overall.

Pitcher Chelsea Thomas pitched a complete game, getting the victory and improving to 14-3. The redshirt sophomore gave up only four hits, while striking out 11 and walking just two

Sophomore Nicole Hudson led the Tigers on Sunday, driving in three runs off her home run in the top and walked twice. The homer was Hudson's sixth of the year. Senior Rhea Taylor added three hits, while Junior Ashley Fleming hit two and scored twice.

Missouri will finish their 10-game road trip on Wednesday with a doubleheader at Evansville.
