Invisible Children Tour Visits MU
COLUMBIA - During the Ugandan Civil War, thousands of children were forced to become soldiers. Most of the children in Uganda weren't able to go to school during the war, and many lost their parents.
The organization Invisible Children builds schools for the survivors. So far, it has built three schools in northern Uganda. Invisible Children's "Face to Face: Stories of War" tour stopped at the MU campus Tuesday night.
The tour showed a movie featuring Emmy, a typical child in Uganda.
