Janitor Arrests
WASHINGTON (AP) - Eight employees for Nevada based cleaning contractor Rosenbaum-Cunningham International were arrested today on immigration charges in St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri. Their names were not released. RCI co-owners Richard Rosenbaum and Edward Scott Cunningham, and firm controller Christina Flocken, were also charged with fraud and tax crimes as part of an ongoing federal investigation. The arrests in Missouri represent only a few of an estimated 250 illegal immigrants working as janitors in 18 states. They were swept up at well-known business including the House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, ESPN Zone and Planet Hollywood. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials began its investigation nearly two years ago.
