Jazz Club Owner Gets Probation for Arson
CLAYTON (AP) — A St. Louis County jazz club owner has been sentenced to probation for setting fire to his building.
A source reported Wednesday that 40-year-old Lozell Stiles of Florissant must pay $1,000 in restitution. He pleaded guilty in July to second-degree arson.
The Halls Ferry Inn Jazz Club burned in February, also damaging an adjoining business. No employees or customers were in the club at the time of the fire.
