JCPD Make Several Arrests Following Routine Traffic Stop
JEFFERSON CITY - Jefferson City police officers made three arrests following an attempt to make a traffic stop on Route W.
Officers said when they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver stopped and then sped off. Police said a short vehicle pursuit ended with the driver pulling over. Officers also said two passengers fled the vehicle on foot while the driver stayed in the vehicle.
Officers arrested the driver, 54-year-old Marcus L. Parker of Jefferson City for a stop sign violation and resisting arrest.
Officers also arrested the two passengers, 38-year-old Shane Otto of Jefferson City and 27-year-old Jennifer Wilson of Jefferson City. Otto was arrested for meth possession and resisting arrest, while Wilson was arrested for resisting arrest and for an outstanding burglary warrant in Arkansas.
