Jefferson City Jays Kick Off Season
"Everybody hates two-a-days. You know, you have to get up early in the morning. You have to come outside and practice in the heat, and it's very humid in the morning," said defensive end Terrell Resonno. "You have to go home, go to sleep, come back and practice for another two and a half hours. It's brutal."
"Two-a-days through here, basically what it's all about is getting fundamentals down, technique work. A lot of those little things that you need to win football games on Friday nights," explained secondary coach Lerone Briggs.
"I'm always going to dread it a little bit because it's exhausting, but in the back of your mind you know it's something you have to do," said linebacker Tyler Severance. "And, if you want to be a successful football team, you have to go through two-a-days and you have to attack it with a 'want to' attitude."
