Jefferson City Police Claim Arrest of Five "High Level" Heroin Distributors

JEFFERSON CITY - The Jefferson City Police Department and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force, through an ongoing investigation of suspects involved in narcotics distribution, have arrested five "high level" Jefferson City area heroin distributors. 

According to a police report, detectives suspect these distributors, James Jackson of St. Louis, Tracy Davis of Jefferson City, Frank Collins of Jefferson City, Alicia Scott of Jefferson City and Ben Scott Jr. of St. Louis, can be linked to several heroin overdoses throughout central Missouri and have charged them with multiple counts of heroin distribution. Scott has also been identified as a wanted federal fugitive for heroin trafficking in the St. Louis area. They are currently being held in the Cole County Jail. Bonds have been set and range from $50,000 to $500,000. 

An additional 29 suspects have also been arrested for various charges, including distribution of controlled substances, firearms possession and possession of controlled substances. Furthermore, the investigation has led to the seizure of heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, firearms and drug money.
