Jefferson City police investigate Wednesday night shooting
JEFFERSON CITY - Authorities are investigating a Wednesday night shooting which injured a 19-year-old Jefferson City resident, police said in a news release.
Police responded to the 200 block of Center St. around 9 p.m. for calls of shots fired, and later learned of a gunshot victim at the Capital Region Medical Center.
The victim, who police said was not fully cooperating with investigators, was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The Jefferson City Criminal Investigations Section was investigating. Police were not able to identify any suspects.
