AP-MO--St. Louis-Jobs,0074St. Louis metro area adds nearly 22,000 jobs ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The number of jobs in the St. Louis area is on the increase. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the metro area added 21,700 jobs over the 12-month period that ended in August. The showing is the best for the St. Louis area since March of 2000.
