ST. LOUIS (AP) - Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park will partially reopen today, even as crews continue to clean up damage from the nearby Taum Sauk reservoir collapse. Governor Blunt says parts of the park will reopen, allowing visitors to swim in the rock-lined pools called shut-ins. A majority of the park will remain closed as work crews rebuild the area. The campground and other parts of the park were buried under feet of mud and stone after being flooded when the mountaintop reservoir breached in late 2005. Blunt said the park will remain open through early September.
