Kentucky Beats Missouri Despite Comeback

COLUMBIA - The Kentucky Wildcats beat the Missouri Tigers 84-79 at Mizzou Arena today despite a 2nd half comeback. The Tigers fall to 16-5 overall and 4-4 in the SEC. 

Jabari Brown and Jordan Clarkson combined for 61 points but the rest of the team only scored 18 points including just three from the frontcourt. Brown, the SEC's leading scorer, scored a game-high 33 points. 

After the Tigers turned the ball over 8 times in the first half, the Wildcats led by 10 at the break and led by 16 at one point in the 2nd half. But MU charged back with a 10-2 run to cut the deficit to 4. 

Jordan Clarkson's layup with 49 seconds put the Tigers down 3 but Kentucky's Aaron Harrison scored the final four points of the game to seal the deal. He finished with a team-high 21 points while James Young added 20 on 8-14 shooting. As a team, the Wildcats shot 57% from beyond the arc. 

Missouri is at No. 3 Florida on Tuesday.
