Kingston License Office to Close

JEFFERSON CITY - The Kingston License Office will close after regular business hours Tuesday. The office will remain closed until a new agent is named. Current agent Lisa Prater said health reasons prevent her from continuing to run the office. The Missouri Office of Administration will issue a Request for Proposal to ask new bidders to operate the office.

There are several other area license offices where City of Kingston and Caldwell County citizens can go to conduct transactions. The locations and hours are:

 

  • Cameron - 217 N. Chestnut Street. (816) 632-4830
    Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Saturday: 9 a.m. to noon. 
  • Chillicothe - 730 S. Washington Street. (660) 646-5418
    Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Last four business days of the month: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Gallatin - 400 N. Main Street, Suite 1. (660) 663-5400
    Monday - Friday (except Wednesday): 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, closed for lunch 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
    Closed every Wednesday
    Last Saturday of the month: 10 a.m. to noon
  • Plattsburg - 102 E. Maple Street. (816) 539-2006
    Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to noon
