Lake Area 6th Grader Organizes "Kuddles 4 Kids" for Joplin

OSAGE BEACH - An Osage Beach 6th grader is collecting stuffed animals for the children of Joplin, and she wants your help.

Sydney Hulett was eating dinner with her family when she saw the news of the tornado that devastated families in Joplin, Mo. As she watched images of children who had lost everything, she came up with the idea to collect as many stuffed animals as possible and deliver them to Joplin. She named her drive Kuddles 4 Kids.

"I just can't imagine losing everything that I have. Maybe if we can collect enough stuffed animals for all of the kids, it will make it not hurt as much," said Hulett.

Collections are underway. Donations of clean used or new stuffed animals can be dropped off at:
