DENVER - Former Mizzou star Drew Lock claimed a win his first NFL start on Sunday, as the Denver Broncos hosted the San Diego Chargers.
Lock finished 18-of-28 passing for 134 yards with two touchdowns.
Just a month ago, Lock's teammate, Brandon Allen, made his first league start, defeating Cleveland. Sunday's win made Denver the first team in NFL history to have two quarterbacks start and win their NFL debuts in the same season.
The Chargers kept it close until the end when Denver's Brandon McManus hit a 53-yard field goal to move on to a 23-20 win.
Denver will meet the Houston Texans on December 8th.
