Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe files to run for election
JEFFERSON CITY - Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe today filed to run for election in 2020.
Kehoe has served as Missouri’s 48th Lt. Governor since June 2018, after serving two terms in the State Senate where he was elected in 2010 and 2014.
“I’m running for Lieutenant Governor because I believe in the power of the American Dream, and I want to continue doing my part to help my fellow Missourians achieve it,” said Kehoe.
“I am incredibly proud to be born and raised in Missouri, and to have built businesses and raised my family here like so many other hard-working Missourians."
Kehoe has been involved with Jefferson City for 30 years. He has owned multiple businesses and has been a civic leader.
Kehoe was elected to serve eight years in the Missouri Senate representing the Sixth District which includes Cole, Gasconade, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, and Osage Counties. Kehoe was appointed Missouri’s 48th Lt. Governor by Governor Mike Parson.
