Man arrested after allegedly threatening two people buying crack cocaine
COLUMBIA - A Columbia man was arrested after police say he threatened two people when he tried selling them crack cocaine Tuesday.
Columbia Police reports say the victim and the victim’s friend went to buy crack cocaine from Richard Nole Jr. but they didn’t have any money. The victim told officers she asked Nole if he could give her the drugs and she’d pay him back on pay day.
Nole reportedly got upset and took the victims to his residence and pointed a gun at both of them.
Columbia police obtained a search warrant for the residence on Ann Street where Nole was staying and reported finding evidence of distribution of a controlled substance and a stolen firearm.
Nole was arrested on two counts of armed criminal action, two counts of second degree assault, along with other charges related to the distribution and production of a controlled substance and a weapons charge.
The total bond has not been set.
