COLUMBIA - A man was arrested Thursday evening after police found dangerous drugs during a routine traffic stop. The arrest occurred near the 1400 block of Range Line Street.
The Boone County Sherrif's Department said that Jayson Breaux, 46, had his vehicle searched with the assistance of a Columbia Police Department K9 unit.
The search found several grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and prescription pills; all packaged in a manner indicative of drug sales.
The Sherrif's Department also said that several weighing scales were located in the vehicle.
Breaux, originally from Mexico, MO, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance and driving while license revoked.
