Man arrested after report of possible drug activity is confirmed
CLARKSBURG - Deputies arrested a man Wednesday after they said they found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine.
Deputies went to a house in Clarksburg after getting a report of possible drug activity. The resident of the home, Daniel Contreras, 28, refused a search after deputies had asked for one when they saw marijuana at the home. Deputies then sealed the home and made an application for a search warrant.
When they searched the house they reported finding marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine.
Contreras was taken into custody and taken to the Moniteau County Jail to face formal charging for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $25,000.
Contreras also had a non-support of a child warrant for his arrest set at a $8,000 bond.
