Man Found Guilty of 1989 Murder Scheduled to be Executed
KANSAS CITY - The State of Missouri scheduled the execution of a man convicted of raping and murdering a teenage girl more than two decades ago.
Michael Taylor will be executed on Feb. 26.
The Jackson County Circuit Court found Michael Taylor guilty of murdering a Kansas City girl in 1994. Taylor pleaded guilty to abducting 15-year-old Ann Harrison while she waited for a school bus. Taylor, and Roderick Nunley, raped, bound and stabbed the girl to death.
Nunley had a 2010 execution date scheduled, but a stay was granted for him.
