Man gets 7 years in prison in Springfield after seventh DWI
SPRINGFIELD (AP) — A man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after being found guilty in Springfield of his seventh DWI.
The Springfield News-Leader reports Roger Sallee of Cotter, Arkansas, was sentenced Monday. Police said Sallee was found driving while drunk in a Springfield parking lot in February 2015.
Prosecutors said Cotter started to drive away when officers arrived on the scene, but his vehicle became stuck on an exit ramp.
