Man, infant die when speeding vehicle hits their car
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A fiery accident in St. Louis has claimed the lives of two people, including an infant, after their car was hit by a speeding vehicle.
The crash happened about 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Police said a 2015 Ford Mustang was speeding when it struck the rear of a 2003 Subaru at a stop light. The impact pushed the Subaru into a third vehicle. The Subaru spun and caught fire.
The male driver of the Subaru and an infant boy in the car were killed. Their names and relationship have not been released.
Police said the 29-year-old driver of the Mustang was not hurt. He was arrested pending the investigation.
The driver of the third vehicle was not hurt.
