Man on motorcycle fatally shot in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man after he stopped his motorcycle at a red light.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday in the city's Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Police say the motorcyclist was stopped at a light when a car pulled up and someone began shooting.
EMS crews on the way to an unrelated accident scene saw the victim and stopped to help. He had been shot several times.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at a hospital. His name has not been released.
No arrests have been made.
The killing was the 160th in St. Louis this year, one more than all of 2014.
