Man shoots two dogs, kills one after confrontation
CAMDEN COUNTY - A confrontation between neighbors ended with a man shooting two dogs, the Camden County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office said Brandon L. Jensen was waving a gun while arguing with a neighbor at the Lake Hugo Apartments in Linn Creek. When the neighbor's dogs ran out of their apartment, deputies said, Jensen opened fire.
The younger of the two dogs was struck twice and died. The other, a black and tan boxer/shepherd mix, ran off and was found later.
Deputies said Jensen left the scene but was later arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
The sheriff's office said Jensen cannot possess a firearm due to his current probation status. He was being held at the Camden County Detention Center on $2,000 cash-only bond, the sheriff's office said.
