ST. LOUIS - A 30-year-old St. Louis man is charged in connection with a St. Louis police chase that ended with a crash into another vehicle, injuring three of that car's occupants.

KMOV-TV reports that St. Louis prosecutors charged Aaron Stewart with resisting arrest, leaving an accident scene and third-degree assault.

Police say they tried to pull over Stewart last month in north St. Louis, but he continued to drive through residential neighborhoods, sometimes as fast as 80 mph.

Police say Stewart eventually hit a car, injuring three people inside of it.

Stewart allegedly tried to flee on foot but was arrested.

Online court records don't show whether he has an attorney.
