Michael Porter Jr. shines in MFA Oil Break Time Shootout
Tolton Catholic star Michael Porter Jr.'s 22 points was one of the many highlights of a full day of high school basketball at Mizzou Arena Saturday.
The MFA Oil Break Time Shootout included four major matchups featuring mid-Missouri schools.
In Tolton's game, the Trailblazers took advantage of Vianney star missing star Carte'are Gordon to roll to the 68-44 win.
Glasgow took on Salisbury to kick things off at the Shootout. Glasgow's Bryant Hubbard scored 17 as the Yellow Jackets beat the Panthers in a tight one, 50-46.
Iberia center Dexter Frisbie was way too much for Harrisburg to handle in their matchup. The 6'10" senior had 30 points and 15 rebounds in Iberia's 72-32 win.
Battle High School met up with Jefferson City at the Shootout as well. The Spartans, who were missing head coach John Burns, fell to the Jays 67-42.
The Boonville girls' and boys' teams were in action as well on Saturday.
