One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Macon County on Tuesday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Highway 63, approximately four miles south of Macon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report said a pickup truck backed out of a driveway onto Highway 63 and into the path of a minivan.

A passenger in the minivan, 79-year-old Shirley Fraley, died from her injuries at a hospital. The driver of the vehicle, 53-year-old Dewayne Fraley, was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered serious injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center.
