Miller County man stabbed in neck, car stolen
MILLER COUNTY - A man is recovering after deputies said he was stabbed in the neck and had his car stolen in late April.
According to the Miller County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened on April 26. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition at the time was not included.
Deputies got the name of a person of interest during their investigation. Working with Jefferson City police and the Cole County Sheriff's Office, they arrested Ryan Scott Garvin on unrelated warrants and taken to Miller County.
After an interview, the Miller County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Garvin, 23, with two counts of assault, armed criminal action and robbery.
Garvin is being held at the Miller County Adult Detention Center with a $300,000 bond.
