Missouri firefighter injured battling house fire
WILDWOOD (AP) - Missouri authorities said a St. Louis-area firefighter has been hospitalized for heat exhaustion after a house fire.
Wildwood Deputy Chief John Bradley said the firefighter suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon.
Four people, including two children, were inside when the two-alarm fire started.
Bradley said the fire spread from the first floor to the attic. He called the house "a complete loss."
Firefighters extinguished the flames on Monday.
The family members were not injured in the fire.
It's unclear what started the blaze.
