Missouri soccer victorious in last regular season game
COLUMBIA - In the last game of the regular season, the Missouri Tigers women's soccer team narrowly beat SEC foe Arkansas at home, 2-1.
In the 33rd minute, Taylor Grant got Mizzou on the board first with a 20-yard strike to make it 1-0.
The Razorbacks tied things up with a goal of their own in the second half off the foot of Alexandra Fischer.
But off of a corner kick in the 74th minute, Missouri sophomore Lauren Selaiden scored her second goal of the season to give the Tigers the lead for good.
The win gave Mizzou a 4th place regular season finish in the SEC, meaning that the team will have a first-round bye in the conference tournament.
The Tigers will then face South Carolina on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
