Missouri Softball Holds Spot in Top 10 for Ninth-Straight Week

COLUMBIA  — The Missouri softball program, 20-2 overall, 7-1 SEC, held its spot in the Top 10 of the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 polls.

The Tigers swept Southeastern Conference opponent South Carolina with three-straight run-rule victories in Columbia March 29-30. Mizzou scored a six-inning, 10-2 result on Friday before securing two five-inning 12-3 and 8-0 wins in a doubleheader on Saturday.

Four other SEC teams joined Missouri in the Top 10: No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Alabama, No. 6 Tennessee and No. 9 Texas A&M.

The team travels Wednesday to Springfield, Mo., to battle with Missouri State.
